Hi there, welcome to this week’s blog. So, recently I was typing a phrase into Google and those generic searches of the trending questions popped up. I randomly chose to go with one of the suggestions and the results were all about questions that men are currently asking about hair.

Men want to know about a lot hair care. I have already posted a blog about their increased interest in hair care so I will not go into all of that again. The fact they wanted to know is not surprising but, the questions they are asking are interesting.
- How can I grow my hair out while working in the office?
- How often should I shampoo?
- How to grow a strong beard?
- What are the coolest hair color trends for 2018?
- What are the best moisturizers ?
Those are just a few of the ones that struck me. So I decided to do my research and answer them.

I became Inspector Gadget!
To the first question, accomplishing such a task depends primarily on one’s office protocols. Secondly, it depends on the hair type, for example, type 4 hair (curly, kinky) would require sporting cornrows to the back , versus type 2 hair which could be pulled back into a slick ponytail.
I suggest those subtle hairstyles for places of employment that may not be totally accepting of men with long, flowing or high, flying styles. So, you still get to grow your hair out in neat, attractive hairstyles and keep your job.
As it relates to the frequency with which the hair should be shampooed, that also depends on the individual. If you sweat excessively throughout the day, I suggest shampooing daily. Such regular shampooing would also benefit men who have a lot of dandruff. However, for those men who work in an air conditioned environment and rarely do any activity which causes increased sweating, shampooing every other day is recommended. Always remember to moisturize after shampooing.
Growing a strong beard, is about as strategic as growing a full head of healthy hair. Likewise, it seems to be just as fulfilling for the men who boast thick, lengthy beards. Hence, much like growing hair anywhere, men must find the best products to apply to their beards. Beardoholic suggests the Premium Quality Beard Oil available on Amazon. Anther important step for men to take is ensuring they take great care of their skin. It is the foundation, and needs to be in a good condition to facilitate a healthy beard. Esquire has some more healthy beard tips.
Hair color trends have not changed much over the years, they have either evolved or merged with others. Now, a bright neon blue or red shade on a mohawk or fade is still cool. However white lightning highlights or sun streaks have been very popular for 2018. Completely blonde and platinum hair colors are also still trending. An interesting mixture of dyes have also been used to create layers of colors, for example this style below that I personally like. Refinery29 also has a collection of the baddest color trends of 2018.

Finally, for the best hair moisturizers, there are so many brands to choose from:
- Frederick Benjamin Natural Hydrating Moisturizing Conditioner
- SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Treatment Mask
- Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil
and others, just ask your barber or stylist!
Well, I answered all the questions as best as I could. I think I will continue to check in on Google to see what the next hair topic should be.
Until next week, men. go ahead and enjoy growing that beard, trying that new hairstyle and trying out that moisturizer!
Thank you for reading. See you soon.
