Listening music while treating or styling your hair makes the process so therapeutic. Who else enjoys music playing in the background?

Welcome to today’s entry, t’is the season for festivities so you may even add some Christmas carols to your favorite playlist.

So what songs do I listen to during my haircare sessions? There are 2 categories:

Slow and calm 90’s RnB & Dancehall
Latest RnB and Hiphop

The songs in my first playlist serenade me while I’m in the shower washing my hair. I like taking my time for this part of the process and the consistent medium to slow-paced tempo of earlier RnB and Dancehall music help me to relax and go at a steady pace. This includes songs such as:

My second playlist comes into play when I’m infront of the mirror whether sitting or standing. At this time I no longer want to spend all day styling my hair so I listen to more upbeat music but still nothing jarring or excessively upbeat.
