There are some great low cut hairstyles I’ve been wanting to try since the start of 2020. This urge increased since the pandemic, so what’s stopping me? I truly don’t know.

So what are some of these hairstyles that have been beckoning to me?

Be reminded some may look similar but that’s just because they all are short hairstyles, the cut is what makes the difference.

• Teeny Weeny Afro. A TWA might just be what I or you need to feel refreshed and ready for 2021. What do you think? This cut would leave me with some hair so any feelings of nostalgia could be comforted.

• Short Tapered Cut. In this cut, the hairs at sides and back will be shorter than the top. Again, there would be enough hair to do various styles that would heal any wounds of missing hair and at the same time require less maintenance than a full head of lengthy hair.

• Short Curly Mohawk. Fading the sides of my head and sporting the shiniest curls in the middle would make me feel like my baddest self in the best way possible. In addition to that, there would be way less hair to style each time.

• Buzzcut. This by far is my favorite style and one of the edgiest of them all. But I am constantly seeing brilliant buzzcuts all over social media so it’s becoming less edgier with each image. Weirdly enough the buzzcuts that grab my attention are all brightly colored. You know what they say: “there are no limits to colors when it comes to hair”, actually nobody said that but you know what I mean. Just go all in if you’re going to do it.

• Finger Waves. Speaking of, finger waves make low cuts look so glam and high-end, but for someone who has always had kinky hair, I think this would be the edgiest style for me. Have you ever wanted to try finger waves? I can just imagine myself in a gorgeous dress, makeup on point and my short hair wavier than the ocean- stares into space-

• Pixie Cut. This haircut is best when it’s done to match the shape of your face. The perfect cut will transform you into a new person. Who doesn’t like an upgraded version of themselves?

These six styles are the perfect low cuts to reinvent yourself other than going bald and starting from scratch. That too is something to consider.
